Look for Roger and/or Zapp. (Computer Love & More Bounce To The Ounce)
He did the vocoder vocals and appears in the music video for
"California" with Tupac Shakur.

Herbie Hancock did some work on vocoder and I think I have some old
video tape of him doing a jam in his studio as Quincy Jones looks on.

I did a Google search on "vocoder singer" also.
