conversion of .MUS score music notation file format

Hi, I need to convert the .mus format used by SCORE music notation
software to (any) ascii format.
Thing is, I have to do it for 2,500 files, so I want to write a script.
Anyone know of any utilities/
convertors out there for this purpose (I work mostly on linux, but can
use windows).

Never used it before, but there is quick mus 2 midi at this site.

One way to convert if it has no batch conversion options is put
together a team of persons interested in the music, maybe a 10 person
team and each converts 250 songs.
